Question Dark pink "lesion" on side of BP: (Help)

    Hey!

Long time viewer, first time poster. I have a female regular ball in question. She's roughly 4 months old, in the shed process, and her weight is unknown at this time. She has quite ideal husbandry conditions, regulates her heat throughout the day, and has eaten every week since I have had her. Currently being bedded on cypress, but previously on aspen (but the open top cage was tough for humidity even with the tricks).

About a week ago, 2 days before her next feeding, she had developed a "squishy" lump on her side. It's outlined in a pink, possibly blood color. I have never had a flare up with the UTH or can she access the heat lamp (used for ambient temps). I've watched every one of her feedings until she was done, and didn't witness any bedding ingestion, so I don't believe it can be an impaction.

Let me know if the links work, or if you need any additional information. Your help is very much appreciated.

    Thanks!
