So it's been six days since I brought Draco home. For the first few days he was understandably nervous, he was curled in his hiding spot and wouldn't come out. Lately, he has been poking his head out, and his head sometimes rests outside too. I even woke up this morning and found him curled up in the rock hideout on the cool side, which I never saw him in. He also ate for me yesterday. Does the fact that he's sticking his head out more often mean he's more comfortable with the environment? I don't want to stress him out, I had another topic about him living his whole life in a breeder bin and now he's in a glass vivarium. I really want to handle him but I don't want him to be too stressed.

I guess my main question is, how can you really tell besides them eating for you when a snake is comfortable in a new habitat?
