Rough Wrinkly scales?
My newly acquired bp appears to have shed recently, he's very iridescent on his head, though his belly seems to turning yellow/pink...the breeder had little info...
At any rate, all down his spine, the scales are wrinkled, they feel rough when you let him slide thru you hands, if you look close you see each scale looks almost like a shriveled raisin!
In the worst spot, which is right in a curly gold donut on his back, it's bad enough that it looks like scarring!
I can't get a pic with my phone, I tryied the other day to no avail, he's just fed now so not gunna bug him
I've seen this in the past on snakes, in particular a snake that someone "helped" shed...I'm sure they peeled the snake early...and it resulted in similar damage to the snake...
I'm wondering if this sounds familiar to anyone, and if so, what might it be?
Im hoping it was a bad shed from before I got him, but with no previous records I have no idea!
He is certainly no show snake, it doesn't bother me much, but enough that if it's somethin I can prevent, I sure want to try!
Thanks for the help
