Just wanted to share 2 clutches that had amazing odds. Both were a single gene male to a single gene female, resulting in no normals, and 4 double gene hatchlings in each clutch. They were our 4th and 10th clutches of the year. I don't have a whole clutch shot of clutch 4, but you can head over to our Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/SlowcountryBalls) to see each snake in Clutch 4 and all the other stuff that has been hatching out. Here are 2 snakes from clutch 4
Clutch 4 was our male Orangebelly (http://www.worldofballpythons.com/morphs/orange-belly/) paired with a Mojave. In addition to getting all morphs, we got all girls (I am going to double check the sexes in a few days to make sure that I didn't make a mistake on that). The results were 0.2 Orangebellies and 0.4 Orangebelly Mojaves. Here are a few pictures of one of each:

Clutch 10 was a repeat pairing from last year. It was a 2008 female Mojave x 2011 male Mystic. Last year there were 6 eggs. Out of those 6 eggs, we got 1.0 Mystic and 5 normals. This year made up for the missed odds of last year. Real early in the morning on Friday, before I went to work, I checked on the clutch in the incubator (since it was supposed to pip that day). There was 1 Mojave head poking out of an egg. So I started cutting the eggs, with that 1 first. The next 2 eggs were also Mojaves. I was pretty pleased that the first 3 weren't normals, but a little down, thinking that the odds were against there being any Mystic Potions (since I already had 3 Mojaves). Then the next 4 eggs were all Mystic Potions. As of this afternoon, the 3 Mojaves were out of the eggs, but the the 4 Mystic Potions were still in them. So here is a picture with the first Mojave out, and everyone else still in.
Don't forget to check out our Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/SlowcountryBalls to see updates on this clutch and the other clutches as they hatch out.
