I had a clutch of 12 eggs from a BP we did not know was a female. We researched and did everything we could to be prepared. got an incubator followed every basic rule we could and within a couple of weeks the eggs dimpled very badly. We upped the humidity a little more than normal, and now are dealing with eggs getting moldy. I tried to treat the mold by wiping off moisture and lightly dusting with gold bond powder as suggested by several people but it does not seem to be helping and I really need to know what to do here, I can't just pull the moldy eggs out because they are all stuck together as we did not get to the eggs to get them out of her enclosure for a couple days after we believe they were layed. Is there something better I can do to treat the mold? should I cut those eggs off? I can't pull them off due to fear I will tear the remaining good eggs but I don't want to loose the whole clutch due to mold. this is the first time I have ever had eggs as we have never breed anything but Garter snakes before. please help! I need to know what to do and fast.
