Hey all, new to the site, and I wanted some opinions on my butter ball python I purchased back in February. After doing some research, I'm hoping that maybe he has a pastel gene somewhere in there, because his yellow is very bright and hasn't dulled as he's aged.
He was also sold to me as a female but recently discovered he is indeed a male after a vet visit. Do I have a right to complain to the pet shop who sold him to me? Or is sexing not always 100% accurate when they're young? If I guessed his age, I'd say he was hatched late summer last year, making him about a year old.
