My girl hasn't shown any true signs of distress, but I like to check on my animals to see any early warning signs. When I checked her mouth I saw some red that appeared to be a vein. I'm not sure if that's all it was or if that's an early R.I. or mouth rot indicator.
Behavior wise she seems normal; can get pretty active, but she's just under one year. No star gazing, wheezing, or bubbling. However, she will occasionally breathe heavily, though it seems to line up if she gets spooked or is really checking something out.
Opinions are great, as I am pretty new to snakes. If worst case scenario, I have a good herp vet.
Here is her mouth
