All of my "granite" babies are out now, so I'll let you guys take a look. There were 7 eggs. One went bad, one baby got tangled in his umbilicus and died, and 5 hatched out.

Mom and dad (presumably both "granite" and the female is a 2009 offspring of the male, being bred back to him):

"B2" female

"B3" male

"B4" female

"B5" female

"B7" male - This is the one that I think may be a super form and will be breeding back to mom as soon as he's ready

"B1" looked to be male. This is the one that tangled in his umbilicus and never developed properly. This pic is a bit gruesome, but I'm intrigued by the fact that this baby does not appear to express the granite spotting.

Makes me wonder if I had a would-be normal, 4 "granites," and a super.

Unfortunately only time will tell. I plan on repeating this pairing next year for more data.
