So saturday morning i had to get up & pick up Nanci from work cuz she got sick & got sent home early. So, as i was on my way out the door, i saw that Hissy was doing the skin funnel in hide spin, aka shedding. So, once I got Nanci home, i looked & she had finished. I wanted to clean out the dead skin especially because she usually deuces inside of her shed. So, i lifted the hide & let her crawl out of the hide while i picked up the shed (complete & perfect as could be). I then went to grab her to move her & she curled up & hissed the loudest hiss I had ever heard from her. The thing was, it didn't end there, she just kept hissin for a good five minutes anytime i was even anywhere near the tank. Are they still extremely stressed right after the shed & is their new skin extra sensitive to the touch?? This really kinda bothered me cuz she was more upset than I had ever seen her. Lookin for some feedback on it! Thanks!
