Hi, any help would be appreciated. 3 days ago my little female ball managed to escape her cage. I have turned my house upside down looking for her. I've placed flour on the ground around all the walls. I placed her little hide and heater next to a water dish on the floor near a wall. Last night the flour trick worked (sort of); she left little slither marks in the flour, but I cannot tell where she went (apparently I left a little too much flour free space-we've got dogs and they would have spread it everywhere). I have a couple of questions-it's feeding time and I was going to buy mice (my snakes REFUSE to eat the frozen/re-warmed ones no matter what I do) and I was hoping to tempt her out. Any suggestions as to how to put a live mouse where she can find it without allowing it to escape?

Also...I have a basement and I have looked through it completely. It is chilly and not that many places for her to hide, but I don't want to block it off because if she's down there I don't want to trap her. Suggestions of how to rule out the basement as a potential hiding place?

Well, thanks for helping. I feel like an idiot that I allowed her to escape in the first place. I should have known better and am so worried about Frejya being gone for so long!
