Hi everyone. I am new to breeding ball pythons. I am learning everything about this great hobby in this forum, so thanks in advance for all your help.
The reason i decided to write post is because something is happening to one of my females that I was not expecting. She is a very nice and sweet pinstripe from 2012. She is 1550 gr currently. I have seen her locking with my Pastel-Yellowbelly "Tigger". She shed two weeks ago, she is refusing to eat anything, (a month ago was eating like crazy) and her belly turned orang/pink color right away after her last shed. I am not sure if she has ovulated. She is very active, like excited, and does not behave like she is sick.
Have you ever had a snake with an orange/pink belly? Is this part of the breeding process?
