Hope This Old Dog Can Learn Some New Old Tricks

Back in high school I started playing guitar. I mainly played rock and metal. By the end of college I could play almost anything Metallica. I considered myself a mediocre guitarist. Then life happened. Got a job. Got married. Other things became more important to me. So my guitars sat in a corner or closet collecting dust.

So now I am about to have a kid. And my wife has made the request and pick it back up so I can play for our daughter. So I spent over $100 recently getting my electric back in playing condition. Well, I forgot almost everything. I found some of my old tabs and am re-learning. It feels nostalgic. Memories of spending hours and hours playing and learning. And once again I am reminded I have girl hands. Small, dainty girl hands. Scales and some chords are hard for me because of it. I am also reminded of what it feels like to have my left hands cramp and just stop listening to what I tell it to do.

    Fun stuff.
