I went to Pets Plus in Lockport, NY. They had a pretty large selection of BIG snakes. There was a fat green anaconda who was "only" 9 feet long, and its fattest girth was about the width of my thigh! They also had a nice 12-foot reticulated, and another 10 footer. I finally got to see a viper boa! He was only about a foot long, but very fat and cute.
They also had a baby african rock python, which one of the workers had gotten bitten by the day before. His hand was still a bit swollen from that. They had an albino burm and some baby green burms, and a few hatchling BPs, and a bunch of corn snakes.
Also they had two huge BCIs. I cannot wait until mine gets so big! They had to be about 8 feet, each. They had a few baby boas; two looked BCI and one was definately BCC.
Their setups were good, pretty clean for such a large collection. I would have to add a few hides if I were them. But all the snakes looked to be very healthy.
This is the first time I was able to see many of the python species I had never seen "in the flesh" before. I still can't get over how HUGE that retic was! And he kept yawning as if to say "look at these choppers, they're gonna getcha!"
