I just found this today (the article's been around a while) and if you never found it, it's time you gave this a read too! I find that the author just may be right- the reason behind the Lacey Act listing of the snakes just may be for more funding, which the government is, as usual, useless at being productive with!
Wasting our taxpayer dollars AND outlawing our pets- this is entirely unacceptable!
