So the last couple times I fed my BP I thawed the mouse well and presented it, but she would not strike. She just "sniffed" around at it. Both times when I returned it to the sink and let it soak briefly in hot water, she would then take it. I thought that maybe I hadn't thawed it all the way to the core. However, tonight I took a live mouse, performed cervical dislocation, then immediately presented it and she wouldn't strike. I then soaked it in the sink for a few seconds in hot water, and almost before I could get it in her tank she pounded it. What do you make of this? Shouldn't live mice be warm enough?

One more question about feeding. I fed her a 25 gram rat a little over three days ago, and today she was cruising around the cage which she usually does when it's feeding time. Indeed, when I offered her the 26 g mouse, she did take it. Should I not have fed her so soon? I figured she wouldn't take it if she wasn't ready to feed again. Any thoughts on this? Shes weighs 220 grams by the way. Thanks.
