First, a wee bit of business. I'd like to try something a little different with the contests. Instead of having a fresh contest every month, we'll go for two months, just like the last contest ran. That means fewer contests overall throughout the year, but longer "spotlight" times for the winners, and hopefully more photos entered for each.

Our next POTM Theme will be GARDENS! Submit any photo you've taken of a beautiful garden--your own, a friend's or loved one's, or any public garden. Those could be dedicated Botanical Gardens, the grounds of a favorite zoo, an historical building, city landscaping...whatever! Let's brighten up the winter with some beautiful gardens! No photoshopping for this month's theme, beyond the basic preps allowed in the rules.
