Trades of degus at a reptile/exotic expo?

I'm attempting to rehome my degus. I have them posted on craigslist, but I was curious.. do people at expos accept trades of degus? I have four.. 2 females and 2 males.. One female is blue. The other three are agouti. Any color besides agouti is quite rare in the US... Really... degus themselves are pretty rare in the US. I found my two females at a Repticon expo in July.

I've seen people make trades at expos, but I'm not sure how that works...

I posted this here since its about reptile expos.. and I'd be trading for a snake or snake related materials.
