Hello everyone! My name is Pamela, and I hope to bring home my first snake ever, a charming BP, in a few days. I have a few questions, and am not sure where to put them in the forum - please bear with me.

Regarding BPs and other pets.... we have 2 cats, a dog, and a gorgeous macaw (Nimo). I am feeling a little paranoid on a worse case scenario..... If the BP escaped from it's enclosure upstairs, could it come down the stairs, try to climb into a parrot cage, and kill my macaw? Nimo is BIG and has what we refer to as the Beak of Death. He rules the house and all of the other critters are scared to death of him.

I know this sounds ridiculous, but I could never live with myself if something happened to Nimo because of a BP..... It's my number one nightmare, worst case scenario. Thanksssss, Pamela
