I find myself in a situation where I can no longer keep my two snakes, a ball python and a corn snake. I would love to put them somewhere temporarily and pick them up later, but I will settle for giving them a good forever home. I live in Wenatchee, Washington and need to find a place for them to go this week. I do not have the ability or the money to shiop them. They will be moved temporarily to a temperature and humidity controlled storage unit tomorrow. I am not asking for any rehoming fee. These snakes are absolutely free with all the associated equipment to a good home.
I'm fairly sure the ball python is female. I probed her two weeks ago, after watching numerous videos and reading about it. She is a normal, so if you wish to pick her up and confirm her gender before taking her I understand. She is only around 500 grams. I haven't had the chance to weigh her recently since my scale died and I have not been able to replace it. She was rescued by me from a couple who bought her from the local Petco and then neglected her for five years, which is why she is so small. They fed her one fuzzy mouse every other week for that entire time, never helped her get off stuck sheds and didn't seem to realize she needed a higher humidity. This snake especially I would like to see go to a good home if I cannot keep her. She is a big puppy and eats like a pig, I've never had her refuse food. I feed her two rat pups every week (I have not been able to purchase frozen feeders of a larger size) and comes with about 40 frozen rat pups, a 100 gallon glas tank that is fully furnished, a heat lamp and a uht heating pad, though it is currently in disuse since I don't have a way to regulate its temperature.
The corn snake is just a basic snow corn of intederminate gender. She is three years old and agressive for a corn snake but does well if she's not surprised when she's picked up. She comes with a makeshift cage I inherited and have not had the ability to replace. That tank is fully furnished as well. I have 4 frozen mice hoppers for her.
Neither snake had been fed in over week now as I did not want to move them on full stomachs. I would really like to see them go to someone here, who knows how to care for them and that I might be able to stay in contact with. I can be reached at sueofthephoenixgate@gmail.com, by pming on this site (though that would be an unreliable way to reach me) and by voice or text on my cell 509-470-4170.
