So, the northeast has been experiencing unseasonably cool temperatures for the last four or five weeks, and my balls seem to have noticed. With breeding season right around the corner (we start temp dropping in late october), most of our males have been off of food uncharacteristically for about four weeks now and some of our breeder sized females are starting to show waning appetites.

My question is, do I push on with breeding season as scheduled, even though it seems the kids are gearing up a little early, or do I follow their lead (which I may be misreading. I mean they may be doing this to drive me insane. They are ball pythons after all) and start breeding season a month earlier.

What do you guys think?
