Smile GTP Breeding 101 - Step 1. Put them together

I didn't really expect to see this when I put my male in with my female. I just wanted to introduce them so that, when the time comes to pairing them, they wouldn't be 'strangers'. This was suggested to me by someone that has bred Chondros before.
I'm new to breeding GTPs and this is going to be my first pairing.

I haven't started dropping night temps or anything, so I was quite surprised when they started tango-ing together within minutes of being put together! I know this doesn't necessarily mean eggs, but it's a start -right?

I was sure Pez was a male since he came from a breeder who used him in her breeding program before, but only 99% sure that Smaug was a female. No question now! Smaug is the one with the bright blue pattern. I don't remember what local he is from. Smaug is an Aru-Sorong cross and is solid blue under the green. I'm hoping she turns hormonal blue. That would be SO Cool!

I've read the More Complete Chondro several times, but if anyone has any suggestions or guidance for this newbe - please feel free to give all the free advice you want! LOL
