So I decided I needed some Cherry in the collection..... (DUW)

Just got a pretty spectacular package from my good friend, Star!! She collaborated with another friend to do a breeding between a Cherry Pastel male and an Orange Tail Hypo Jungle female. Once I saw the litter, I decide this was a project worth jumping into with both feet so these 3 little beauties came home with me. Trey Stowell was the first to work with the Cherry Pastels and a year or so ago, he took the Cherry Pastel out of the salmon hypo line and put it to the OT hypo line and I think that was an outstanding move - the colors are much more vibrant and this is only the 2nd litter to have made an appearance in the OT line.

A big shout-out to Star's Snakes for letting me lay claim to 3 of the best babies out of that litter! And if anyone is looking for an outstanding quality boa - especially BCC - Star is fantastic and is extraordinarily conscientious and just a pleasure to work with!

    Without further ado....

This is Henna. She is a Cherry pastel Jungle female.

This is Dante, a Cherry hypo male who is possibly a low expression jungle. Anyone who is exceptionally experienced with the jungle gene can weigh in on this debate - may not be certain until he's bred to a normal and produces some jungles, lol.

    Look at that color!!

And this is another female - a Cherry pastel Normal. Check out the PINK in this girl. She is just saturated in color and looks a LOT like the father of the litter did when he was born. She has been aptly named Sangria...

This picture REALLY is her true coloration - she really is that pink, even more so!

And this is picture of the father of the litter - a Cherry Pastel NORMAL male. Keep in mind, he is NOT a hypo!!

These babies are getting way more pink. All of these pictures were taken by Star and posted with permission. They were all taken about 4-6 weeks ago. Now that they have arrived here, they are just that much more colorful. I will get updated pictures once they settle in. But in the meantime, enjoy the pictures and thanks for looking!!
