I was raised in Texas where we did ranching so we came across snakes all the time. I was taught at a young age that venomous found around the house were to be killed by cutting off their head. Non venomous were to be left alone due to their abilities to control mice and such. So that is what I had always done until I found out the proper way to "kill" a snake. I still have mixed emotions about relocating a hot snake. The cost of treatment if something went wrong in relocating the snake overrides my emotions so I probably would have done the same thing as the guy in video minus the decapitation and laughing about it. The reptile community is not as large as some people seem to think so the only good snake is a dead snake mentality is norm . Which in all honesty might be the best thing because if every joe blow decided they could relocate hots we will have a lot of inexperienced handlers getting bitten. Just my two cents and I do not condone the actions of the guy in the video due to his enjoyment of the kill.
