My frog wants to fight or mate with my herpstat

I've yet been unable to get this on video, but it is hilarious.

In my swamp tank I've got a bunch of reed frogs living in the pothos and the marshy land area. I got them young and they're just starting to get big enough for a few of them to be calling.

The unidentified species I've got in there have some pretty weird calls, especially one that sounds like a funky mechanical blip noise, almost like a digitized version of two marbles hitting each other, if that makes any sense.

Adjusting my humidity on my herpstat one day as the frog was calling, I realized it was actually responding to the beeps the herpstat was making as I navigated the menu. So I started pushing buttons, imitating the rhythm of his call, and he'd do it back at me. For this reason, I've decided to leave the sound on the unit unmuted, haha.
