    FINALLY! First Clutch!

I woke up this morning and caught Tabitha laying on day 37 post shed. She had 7 eggs out and I could tell that she wasn't done. I was expecting one, maybe two more. But When I checked on her an hour later...I was surprised to find 11 healthy eggs and no slugs! Great for a first time mom! The clutch weighed in at 915g, so an average of 83g per egg. Tabitha weighed 1650g after laying and was a trooper allowing me to take her off eggs. No tags, just hisses!

Here are a couple of photos of the eggs in the egg tub. The angles of the pictures are funny but they are not touching the sides.

And here is mom after all her hard work!

Oh yea...pairing (though it can be seen on the index card) was a lesser/black pastel/pewter x normal. The black pastel was with her from October until December, the lesser from late February until ovy, and the pewter the couple of months before ovy but no locks were witnessed. Confirmed locks from the black pastel and lesser.
