I've decided to not use newspaper anymore for my ball pythons because it's harder to spot clean etc. I seen a video on youtube where the reptile keeper stated that aspen bedding can get stuck in the cloaca of ball pythons and become infected. I don't see a lot of videos of beechwood chippings being used for ball pythons, but I do see a lot of videos of beechwood chippings being used for corn snakes. My corn snakes use beechwood chippings because I got a big bag of it with one of them, and because its about to run out I have a few questions:

1. Can beechwood chippings be harmful to ball pythons?
2. Can aspen bedding be harmful to corn snakes?
3. What do you think would be a good way for me to proceed?
