Everyone has to start somewhere, I started of with a few normals, a pair or het pied, a pastel and a spider (back then there were still pricey well at least for me), than I slowly added more animals and grew my collection, compare to others it wasnīt much (still not is).
The point I am making here is that it does not matter if you do not have expensive animals to start with, what matters is that you are motivated, passionate and HONEST.
Donīt go and destroy your name and reputation before you even get one other have tried and it did not work.
