    The perfect feeling

So I bought a Lemon Blast male a while back that would only take mice to the tune of about 3-5 per meal. Been trying to switch him over to rats for a few months now (I breed rats and not mice so I don't like having to buy mice from the pet stores for jacked up prices) Been doing things like scenting with mice and ASFs, feeding him a small mouse then offering a crawler rat once he was "in the mood", offering him a crawler with all lights out, etc. Well this morning I got tired of waiting and did what you are never supposed to do. I started out by removing his hide and water bowl from his tub and the I just dropped the rat in his tub. The rat I used was just under wean size as I wanted something that would move around a bit more than a crawler. Then I just walked away for about 30 minutes. I came back to am angry looking snake but no rat . I felt like pushing my luck so I dropped another one in...his feet barely hit the bottom of the tub. I really really really hope this is a sign of things to come and he know knows that rat = food.
