I was thrilled when I got Toby. He didn't have 'high white' sides. They were almost all yellow with only a few scattered white scales peppering the side of the body. I don't like the high whites. They seem to take away the pattern and I don't find it esthetically appealing.
I saw some pictures of a multi-gene spider and it's sides were all yellow like Tobys. This got me thinking... Is Toby a low-white spider or is there maybe another gene in there?
