The Collection! (So Far)
Hey everyone, I've seen a few other people do a post about their collection and i though I'd do the same. For starters, im 14 years old. I got my first ball python when i was eleven, and now i have six snakes. I plan on breeding snakes this 2013-2014 season. I can't wait!
So when i was eleven, i got my first snake. I originally bough him as a female, but it turns out this is a male. I chose this normal, in particular, because i thought it had a lighter pattern than most normals.

The next snake i got after that was my Carpet Python. There is something about Australian Pythons (and big snakes in general) that i really like. This is my Male Irian Jaya Carept Python.

I got this male at the Pomona Reptile Show in Pomona, CA. When i bought him i had plans for a bumble-bee project, but i hadn't yet gotten a pastel. Out of all my ball pythons, this is the only one with an attitude problem. Nothing bad though, just a hisser.

After i bought the male spider, i knew i needed a pastel. I called Brian Gundy from For Goodness Snakes, and he said he had a 1500 gram female that he was willing to sell. So i figured if i got the snake then, that by 2013-2014 season it would be at an even better weight (better weight usually means more eggs and safer for the snake).

This next snake i bought at the Lodi Reptile Show in Lodi, CA from Heather's herps. When i was at the show this was one of the snakes that caught my eye. I knew it had a good breeding potential and that it would be a good investment. This is my 2012 male Piebald.

This next snake i got with plans to breed with any co-dom or dom male i had, or would get. I bought this big girl from a rescue at the Bay Area Reptile Expo in Pleasanton, CA. This is my 2,111 gram female normal Ball Python.

I can't wait for 2013-2014 season to finally get a chance to produce some of my own snakes. I never though that when i was 14 I'd be breeding snakes, but it's something I'm really interested in.
Let me know what you guise think! Thanks!
