I know we all have heard the dumbest quotes from people in the public eye concerning our reptiles but this one blew me away.

Last night on the news here in San Diego (maybe someone smarter than me can link the entire story a guy found a container of some sort in a garbage can with a 3-4 long normal ball in it. Called the police. They called animal control. All good right. Well as good as can be expected. Animal control lady does the next interview and says " Yes its a python. A ball python makes a great pet, blah blah.....Snake is in great condition. And whoever put him in the container even put eggs in the box with him. And we all know snakes love to eat eggs as a treat!! The snake will be available for adoption.....blah blah"

Obviously I know there are egg eating snakes out there but really saying that about a ball python. Any quick internet search would have answered that question!!
