    Start with females. It takes approximately 2-3 years to grow a female hatchling to sexual maturity. It takes a male 6 months- year to do the same. You wait less if you have a female first. (Unless you plan on buying adult breeder sized girls in the future, but they're more expensive. Girls gain value as they age.)

    Plus, morphs go down in price every year. By time that girl is ready to breed or close to breeding, the male morphs you want now will probably be even cheaper then.

    You also always want more females than males. Its better and more efficient in the long run.
