An insulin pump was the best thing for mine to ever happen and they're doing incredible things with eyelet cell transfer and some other things with gene therapy. It's a diagnosis, not a death sentence...keep your chin up!
I'm on a pump and love it as well. It's pink and I named it Hilary Duff Poor little thing has been beaten and battered and dropped into lakes and it's still going strong
My chin's up(ish). I have to keep reminding myself all the cool things I do in spite of it! But the 10 year just feels so much more forever than the other ones. I don't know why, but it's weirding me out big-time.
