Bring up insectivorous snakes, if she has no problem with that then she is being hypocritical in the extreme because the planet would not be a whole lot different without rats but, it would be drastically altered by the absence of insects.........

    That or watch "The Lion King" with her and highlight the "Circle of Life" part
