I am always learning and have a quick question. While I know each snake can be unique, I have noticed my young Spider (~250g) is VERY active and always appears like she is wanting to get out of her enclosure. Always has her head up by the screen top and slithering around...day and night. She is currently in QT in a 10 gal. Temps (Hotspot: 90, ambient 80-82, cool side 78-80) and humidity (50%-60%) are spot on. She's eating rat pups well (very well) and hasn't missed a meal. Regular BMs and urates. She did have a bad shed about a week ago, but helped her out of that. No signs of an RI or any other distress or issues. I am ordering my T-8 Wednesday w/divider so she'll be bumped up to a larger enclosure and be done with QT by the time it comes and I can get it setup and ready...
Is she just an active snake? Is she screaming for more room? I will find her hiding occasionally, basking occasionally, and occasionally hanging out by her water dish...but she just seems to spend a lot of time stretched up to the screen top. My Normal LOVES to hide, comes out for food...then goes into hiding again.
