Yup it's so pointless to have the burm on the Lacey act. The whole pitch the politicians had was that if they cross state lines they will escape and take over land all over the county. When the truth is they would all die over the winter anyway, even Florida gets too cold for them. All it is was a chance for a politician to get his name on a bill.
