    Lost and found!!!!!!!

On X-mas Eve of last year, i got off work early because we had guests coming over and noticed my adult JCP, Tiger escaped from his secured enclosure. He is housed in a 30gal tall tank with a screen top and clips. I guess he was strong enough to push a corner of the lid and wiggle his way out. I started to tear apart everything hunting high and low for him before our guests came over. He was no where to be found.

From that day forward, I searched and looked and did the whole f/t rat in the middle of the room to see if he would could come out of hiding. Tiger is a lot more inquisitive then my bpz and has one heck of a personality. I knew he saw me searching for him and hunkered down every time i looked for him. Well, after over a month being missing in action, I found some of his feces next to the rodent freezer then saw a huge full shed right next to it. I guess he got real hungry and decided it was time to stop playing hide and seek and came out of his hiding spot. He looks fine and didn't really lose any weight. Going to let him settle in for a couple of days and will try and feed him later. I gave him water immediately but he didn't seem interested. I made sure his enclosure is tight as a drum so no more escapes.

I guess you should never give up searching for an escapee.
