I may have a potential issue with Cornelia (2 yo axanthic pastel female, ~1000g). She had an appropriate sized rat on Friday, took it without hesitation, from the correct end, and retired to her hide afterward. Last night I smelled the most revolting scent when I walked into the snake room (worse than the time one my puppies got diarrhea in his kennel). She'd pooped right in the doorway of her warm-end hide, it was brown, runny, and very stinky. Unfortunately I was so focused on getting it cleaned up and getting the smell out, that I didn't think to get a sample of the poo for the vet to examine. She's been feeding quite happily once a week, this is her first odd poo, and she's not showing any other symptoms or signs of distress. All my other guys are fine, they're all in an AP CB-70 rack, room temp is 80-82, hot spots 90-92, humidity currently 45%. Should I be worried? Has anyone else had issues with random gross bowel movements from their animals?
