Craigslist and the newspaper in my area seem to have become over in with ads about unwanted snakes needing a home. I have the funds, the time and the space, so I have decided to rescue some of these unwanted beauties. To my surprise after posting on craigslist that I was willing to re home unwanted snakes I received over 20 emails and 15 texts in the first day. Obviously I can't help them all, but I will help as many as I can.
I am mainly versed in pythons and python care, so my questions are:
How aggressive/handle able are king snakes and milk snakes?
How big could I expect one to get?
Humidity and temp wise are they easier to maintain than pythons, or about the same?
What is the largest tank size an adult would need to be happy?
Can/will they eat rat pinks, fuzzy, hoppers, weanlings etc..
What in your opinion is the best habitat set up?
And any other information you'd be willing to take the time to type out and share.
Thank you.
