Need some advice on QT
Okay, so I am planning on getting my first boa this Christmas, and I am having some serious issues on how I am going to QT. The three options I have are 10 gallon tank with CHE plus a Uth(I have a herpstat 2), 28 or 41 QT tub with Uth, or bypass QT entirely and put him into the lower level of my BP rack. The issue is this: My room hovers at bear 75, which would be okay for a tub, but the rest of the house is a chilly 65-70 degrees, far too cold. I could use the 10 gallon outside my room, but I have been told that it is too small even for this duty. Basically, should I use a 10 gallon in a separate room, tub in same room but apart from my other snakes, or just buy from a trusted breeder and bypass QT entirely?
Thanks
