Hi Guys,

So I posted a thread a few days back with shipping questions in regards to getting a pied for my small collection. I have it down to four breeders. One has been writing me through emails since I first emailed him. Answers questions and concerns quickly. He has been breeding for three years now. Asking 700 with shipping.

The second one I spoke to back a few months about this pied actually. She is very friendly and answers questions with great details. She has been breeding for a few years now. Reviews are nothing but excellent. 750 with shipping.

Third is a bigger breeder who again has answered my questions, but doesn't seem to really want to work with me too much. Overall great guy with excellent reviews. 750 with shipping.

Fourth, is a guy who has good reviews and a bad review. The bad review was really the buyer trying to scam the seller. He has some really cool bright pied girls for 650 shipped. He is short with me though. Told me I have to have my deposit in by Saturday or he will sell all the rest to a whole seller. He won't send me additional information or pictures. I feel like I am bugging him and that he is in for the cash. =(

I guess my question is mainly, if you are seller wouldn't you want to answer all the questions, give extra information and pictures when asked? Especially if you are trying to make a sale before winter hits?

Anyone else have something like this happen before purchasing a new snake? I know the holidays can get to people but I really want a breeder to work with me especially regarding shipping as it will be my first shipped snake.

*On a side note, what other questions should I really be asking when shipping a snake? I have ask about returns, deposits (refundable), health guarantee, arrive-live guarantee, and then the basics, like what size food is she taking, etc. I want to make sure I am covering all the basics.
