I picked up a new camera on the dreaded Black Friday and have been messing around with the settings to accurately photograph my hypos. I think I have everything just about there, but the lighting in the tent I built leaves much to be desired, so I may end up picking up a new tent. Anyways, here they are as of today. I'll probably update this thread with pics from time to time on my quest for the perfect hypo pics. Enjoy!
Medusa, one of the hypo sisters I picked up. The other girl is deep in shed, otherwise I would've photographed her too. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with how her colors turned out and you can see the purple sheen in the darker areas of her pattern and that's always been tricky for me to show in light tent photos.
Bonnie's always been pretty easy for me to photograph and this photo is pretty darn accurate. A bonus tongue flick is included here.
Next up is my personal rock star Enzo. He's a pain in the butt for a few reasons.
1) He never stays still.
2) All of his bands have a purple sheen to them.
3) His back has a light, lime green color to it that transitions to a light, bright gold color as you move toward the stomach. Picking up that transition would be a major victory for me.
Here's a tongue flick.
This would've been really cool if he didn't decide to spread his body out and take off.
Another tongue flick.
It looks like it's getting there, so we'll see what happens in the coming weeks. Thanks for looking!
