    Mazuri or Harlan lab blocks are best, but probably not worth buying since its for a single temporary mouse. Maybe find a local member who breeds rodents to supply you with a week or two worth of block.

    But if you can't do that, then I say go with a mixed diet of seeds, grain, oats, cooked pasta noodles, boiled egg and the occasional fruit/veggies. Rodents are mainly grain feeders, so don't over feed the fruits and veggies. Too much is not good for them.
