So I got my first ball python last Friday and she finally decided to eat today! She's a hatchling (166 grams, 2 months old.) I had 2 other feeding attempts before this but 3rd times a charm! She struck at the rat (f/t) in about 5 seconds! I'm ecstatic because I heard a lot of people have some trouble switching from live to f/t but this young lady had no problem!I couldn't snap a picture (I bolted out of the room when she latched on).
Anyone else remember their first ball python taking its first meal? :>
