Hello everyone.
I was wondering what you guys use to clean your BP's cages and how you go about doing it. Currently I am using Chlorhexidine (2%) but I can't get the poop smell out of her hides. When I clean her cage (once a month) I take everything out, spray it down with the chlorhexidine mix, let it sit for about 10 minutes, scrub it down with a sponge, and rinse everything thoroughly. I also then take all the bedding out of her cage, rinse it, spray it, let it sit for 10 minutes, scrub, and rinse again. I this is a pretty detailed explanation on how I do things, but I am frustrated on how everything still smells like poop lol. I also worry that I am not cleaning everything enough and bacteria or something might grow inside and damage/kill my BP.

So what do you guys use to clean your cage's and hides, and how do you go about doing it?
