A friend of ours dropped off a 55 gallon tall tank the other day. They were keeping fish in it, but the center support/cross thing split on the top, so when they fill it more than 1/2 with water it starts bowing out. It'll still hold a little water, but definitely a reptile tank now (they knew who to bring it to ). I've been wracking my brain as to what I want to do with it, I'm not a huge tank fan myself but for pet-only animals it'll work. Dimensions (eyeballed) seem to be about 50-60" L/18-20" D/24"H. I'm trying to think of semi-arboreal colubrids that would display nicely, and I -love- beauty snakes, but can't find any CB Vietnamese or Yunnan at the moment. Maybe red tail green rats? I know there are more but those are the only two I know more than nothing about. I've been waiting to get a tank for a BTS, but this doesn't have the floorspace for it.

If nothing else, I can plant it and have a nice terrarium
