    New Additions...Boa, Beardie, and...Ugh!...Roaches...

Since I wasn't working at the Raleigh show this weekend, I was free to have some fun. I got to hang out with some friends, meet some new ones, celebrate with Limey , watch some Roller Derby matches, and expand my collection.
First up is a snake that I have been wanting ever since I started getting in to boas. He is an '08 Tarahumara Mountain Boa. I named him Socorro. These are some photos that I took of him at the show:

I also decided that research will only get you so far, and then experience has to take over, so I figured that it was time to finally get a Bearded Dragon. I'm not a big fan of bright colors, so I decided to give this little Leatherback a home. I named him Quantas, after the Australian airline:

All in all, it was a great weekend...

And since the little guy needs food, and I am not a fan of noisy, smelly crickets, I decided to confront my dislike for roaches, and got a Dubia starter colony:

"Cry, Havoc! And let slip the dogs of war..."
