So, I have been attempting to feed the babies from my fire clutch as most of you know. Last feeding day, three of them ate, and although they were fires, none of the eyeless babies ate. This past time, three ate again. This is the second food item for babies 2 and 10, and the first for # 5. None of the eyeless have eaten so far. But they do show interest in the prey. So for now patience is key. I will wait at least two more attempts before I intervene. The one I really worry about is baby #4, the girl with the deformed jaw. Thus far she does not tongue flick, she has a tongue, but seems not to know how to or be able to use it. She shows little interest in food, not surprisingly. I sincerely hope she will be able to eat, I dread the thought of what I must do if she cannot.

Keep my little ones in your thoughts, please. And I will keep updating their progress.
