this is the exact reason, why people who jump into it for the money get burnt out real quick. They do not understand the concept of you cant just go buy 2 snakes and breed them and in 60 days have babies that will sell for $100 each in just a few days. They dont understand the concept that you need to clean cages, feed the snakes, possibly take them to the vet, deal with problem feeding hatchlings, and care for them. If reptile breeding was a "get rich quick" scheme everyone would be doing it. You need to have a passion for the animals before you can expect to make any type of money off them. Thats why i stand behind my word, all my snakes are part of my family, if they end up making me some money that i can put back into them with food or supplies its a win in my book. but if they dont i really could care less because i enjoy going into my snake room and enjoying my collection, and showing my collection to who ever wants to see them.
