    Fine tuning tank setup

This is my new tank setup. The problem is my snake has refused to eat since going in here (2 weeks now) and never once refused to eat previously. You may have noticed my other thread about leaving f/t mouse in cage over night (http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...er-night-(F-T)).

    Here is the tank:

For heating there is repti heat cable on the bottom of the right side, basically a giant UTH. I have it on a thermostat at 95 (probe in middle hot glued to the inside). So its around 92 on the surface (measured with temp gun inside the hide). Then to keep ambient temps up (room is cold year round) I have two heat lamps on rheostats so I can adjust heat output independently and controlled by a thermostat. That's the probe hanging in the middle. Cool side is 80 and warm side is 84ish, I have 2 digital themometers with probes suction cupped a few inches off the bottom

I covered the top with pieces of plexi cut to fit the openings. Left a small square under each light. We have the humidty in the house pretty low so I added a cheap humidifier from Walgreens on a timer to run a few times a day and can keep the humidty 45-50 without any manual intervention so far.

My snake spent a few days roaming at night but lately has been in his hides pretty much all the time (which is supposed to be a godo thing), comes out when I sit down at the computer or play my guitar like he used to, so I think he likes his new digs now.

I have noticed that he spends almost all his time in the cool side. Only occasionally goes to the warm side. Shoudln't it be the othe way around? Thinking mabye I should fine tune things and drop temps slightly, maybe he's a bit too hot? Any other suggestions housing wise to bring him out of his feeding funk? With what I got I can pretty much fine tune it all so looking for any advice.

I have no clue how old my snake is, idiots at the pet store didn't know. I got him about 10 months ago and he's now 1250 grams even after 2 weeks of no food and around 41 inches long.

    Here are some pictures:
